From mid-September 2024, Arthur Cox will be seeking seeking applications from students of all disciplines, both law and non-law. If you can prove you are determined and eager to learn, we would love to hear from you.
We assess applications on more than just academic achievement. We want to get to know the person behind the grades, to find out what sets you apart.

Top Tips
The Application
Here are our top tips ahead of submitting your application:
Start early – don’t wait until the last minute to apply. Allocate yourself sufficient time to research the firm, define your goals and proof-read your CV and cover letter.
Don’t copy & paste – avoid the temptation to use a generic template for your application.
Interests & skills – we recruit from all degree disciplines, not just law. Make sure to let your interests, hobbies and skills shine through to showcase your personality.
Be yourself – the most important thing to remember is to be yourself! Your biggest advantage by far will be that you’re not like any other candidate.
